That's actually dumb. Not sure we have to many fans out there that want a game to be decided like this.Let teams have a 2 point contest
First team goes for 2 if they get it the other team has to make or it’s over
If the first team does not get it and the 2nd team does take over
just keep going to a team wins
I see where that dude that hijacked the forum to clown on you is coming fromLet teams have a 2 point contest

Not perfect but at least you can’t say your offense didn’t have a chance .Dumb.
If you're gonna change the rules, what I would do is just play a 10-minute period all the way through. Whoever is ahead at the end of the 10 minutes wins the game. If still tied, play another 10 and so on. Is playing 70 or 80 minute really that much more detrimental to player safety than 60?
All this came from that Kansas City/Buffalo game. Buffalo could've just played some defense the last 13 seconds of regulation, or bucked up when KC had the ball in overtime.
100% upgradeI like it.. seems to be an upgrade..
If both teams offense and defense were rated dead even , then a coin flip with who gets the ball first is fine. But these teams aren't evenly matched on both sides of the ball in most cases..
Not sure what the downside is giving both teams a chance with the ball.
That’s part of the game. Changing the rules because teams are exhausted seems sillyKC-Buff was a perfect example why the rule needed to change.. both defenses were exhausted by the end of the 4th qtr. . To much of an advantage for the offense with the old scenario. Kinda unfair for either team that loses the coin flip.
Tough ? , it's OT & you've got to Man-Up .KC-Buff was a perfect example why the rule needed to change.. both defenses were exhausted by the end of the 4th qtr. . To much of an advantage for the offense with the old scenario. Kinda unfair for either team that loses the coin flip.
